There were lot of speculations on this week's eviction on the popular reality show Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 and finally Archana Chandhoke got eliminated from the house in today's episode.

With Archana’s eviction 'Anbu' gang lost it's leader and only left with Som, Rio and Gabriella.

Starting this week, Aari, Aajeedh, Archana, Anitha, Shivani, Rio and Som were nominated in the elimination list through open nominations. Aari Arjuna and Rio Raj were saved in the Saturday episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 4.

Kamal saved Shivani Narayanan early in today’s show. Then housemates were given an egg similar to the one they used in Fox and Chicken task, to see who else got saved from eviction. Aari and Bala broke the eggs and revealed Anitha and Som were saved, which left Archana and Aajeedh in the waters.Without playing much of a tense music, Kamal revealed the card with Archana’s name on it. As many housemates were in a sad mood, Archana requested them to clap and give her a happy send-off. Bigg Boss wished Archana all the best and gave a virtual hug.

Archana got evicted after she became the captain. Hence, Archana was offered the chance to nominate either Balaji Murugadoss or Ramya as captain. Archana selected Balaji as the captain and said that it is like the parting gift from her to him.

Post Archana's exit, Rio and Som were inconsolable and blaming Aari claiming him as unfit contestant, who is still staying inside the house while Archana was evicted.

Earlier it was reported that Archana got the least votes, later there was a buzz that Aajeedh got the least votes and to be evicted from the show. Few hours before the telecast of the show news broke confirming Archana’s eviction.
