Actor Silambarasan, or STR, or Simbu is dubbed as Kollywood's 'King of Controversies' after media attention for many scandalous issues in past few years and some of his directed accused the actor of commitment issues.

However, Simbu stunned the film industry and fans by his unbelievable body transformation from a hundred plus weight to the mid-seventies. He also surprised his fans and movie industry by accepting a quick movie 'Easwaran' directed by Suseethiran which was going on for a month in Dindugal surroundings.

Now, the actor has given an update on 'Easwaran' that shooting of the film has been wrapped up and that the teaser will be unveiled on Diwali, which is just a week away.

Sharing the news with a poster, Simbu thanked the cast and crew of the film who helped with the shooting process. The whole Tamil film industry was pleasantly shocked by the news as Simbu was known for delaying projects and he has completed 'Easwaran' in record time.

Directed by Suseenthiran, the film will have Nidhhi Agerwal as the leading lady. 'Eeswaran' also has veteran director Bharathiraaja and Swetha Nandita in prominent roles.

S Thaman has been roped in to compose music. When the film was launched by Simbu on Vijayadasami, Simbu also released the film’s motion poster.

While revealing the first look poster and motion poster, Simbu has also hinted that the film will hit the big screens on Pongal 2020. Now with this new poster it is confirmed that the movie is going to release in theatres for Pongal.
