Zee Studios is planning to release 'Ka Pae Ranasingam' and Hindi film 'Khaali Peeli' in theatres and they are in discussion with theatre owners
Besides the original Tamil version, the Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada dubbed version of the film released on ZeePlex from yesterday, October 9.
While Meanwhile Zee Studios on Friday said that it is planning to release 'Ka Pae Ranasingam' and Hindi movie Ishaan Khatter’s 'Khaali Peeli' in theatres. The two films made their debut on the pay-per-view service Zee Plex on October 2.
Last week, the Government of India has allowed movie halls to open in India with new rules in place, but still it is up to the State government decision to open the theatres in their respective states.
Zee Studios said they are in active discussions with theatre owners to release the two movies.
“We welcome the central government notification for reopening the theatres. We are currently in talks with the cinema owners and would love to provide our movies ‘Khaali Peeli’ and ‘Ka Pae Ranasingam’, which have been received quite well by the audience on the PPV format. We are sure that given the opportunity our audiences will enjoy them in cinemas as well,” Shariq Patel, CEO, Zee Studios stated.
'Ka Pae Ranasingam' was bankrolled by Kotapadi J Rajesh under his production banner was one of the first Tamil movies to opt for a pay-per-view business model. The film talks about a wife's struggle to bring her husband's remains from UAE. Ghibran has composed music for the film and Ekambaram cranked the camera.
