Composer turned actor GV Prakash has handful of movies, which are at different stages of production. Now the young actor is teaming up with debutant director Akilan, which is touted to be a romantic crime thriller.
To be produced by Navira Cinemas, the movie has been tentatively titled 'Production No 1'. The film’s Pooja was held today at Valasaravakkam and said to go on floors from December.

The movie will be shot in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad and the makers are planning to complete the entire shoot in 55 days.

Talking about the film director Akilan says, “I was working under two of Bala’s assistants and also did a short film called ‘Motta Maadi’. I was writing a few scripts and I heard from a production house that GV Prakash sir was looking for a good script. I got to meet him and narrate this script. He really liked the screenplay. He plays a medical representative in the film, and his character will have different shades. This role will very different from the ones he has played before. We will be shooting in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.”GV Prakash will also be scoring music for the film, while MA Rajadurai will be handling the cinematography.
