Actor Karthi has turned father for the second time after his wife Ranjani gave birth to a baby boy today.

The happy father revealed this news though a social media post. "Dear friends and family, we are blessed with a boy baby. We can’t thank enough our doctors and nurses who took us through this life changing experience. 🙏🏽 need all your blessings for the little one. Thank you god!".

Karthi and Ranjani got married on July 3rd 2011 at Coimbatore and already have a daughter Umayaala, who was born on January 11th, 2013. Karthi and his family are elated with the latest addition to the family.

On the work front, Karthi will next be seen in Bakkiyaraj Kannan's Sulthan. He is also playing a key role in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
