Badminton star Jwala Gutta got engaged to actor and producer Vishnu Vishal on her 37th birthday on Sunday. She took to Twitter to announce the development on Monday. "N dis happened last nite n what a beautiful surprise it was!" she wrote.

The actor announced the news on Twitter on Jwala Gutta's birthday. Sharing adorable photos of himself and Gutta, Vishnu wrote, "Happy birthday. New start to LIFE. Lets be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around."

Vishnu Vishal got divorced from his wife Rajini Natraj, daughter of actor K Natraj, in 2018 and separated for personal reasons. Vishnu Vishal and Rajini were collegemates and dated for about 4 years before they got married in Dec 2010. They have a son named Aryan who is 3 years old.
