Few days ago, on Friendship Day, Vijay connected with his friends on a video-call. A screenshot of actor's video call with his friends Sanjeev, Srinath and others made its way to the internet. Fans couldn't contain their excitement as Vijay was seen having a hearty laugh and started trending it on social media.

On the work front, Vijay is awaiting release of upcoming biggie 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB film creators the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi Malavika Mohanan Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Andrea Jeremiah.

He is joining AR Murugadoss for this 65th films tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 65' to be produced by Sun Pictures. An official announcement is yet to made to confirm the cast and crew details.
