Santhosh P Jayakumar, who made his directorial debut in 2017 with adult comedy 'Hara Hara Mahadevaki' starring Gautham Karthik, gave another adult comedy with a mix of horror in 'Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu' starring Vaibhavi Shandilya, Yashika Aannand and Chandrika Ravi.

Santosh last directed roamtic comedy 'Ghajinikanth' with Arya and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles. Now he is back with another adult comedy, a sequel to 'Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu'.

Santosh announced the sequel late last year and said he is going to play the lead role in the film. Now the movie has been titled 'Irandam Kuththu'.

In an interview to leading portal he said, "I actually approached a lot of actors for IAMK 2, but they were concerned about their image and did not want to be a part of the film. Then, my well-wishers suggested that I play the lead. Luckily, I have been working out for a year to get back to being athletic like I was back in my school days. I've lost 18 kgs, and everyone was impressed. That gave me the push to take on this challenge."

"It will not be a continuation of IAMK, but will have the essence of the adult-horror film. It will, in fact, have more fun elements when compared to the first part.", he added.

Produced by Rockfort Entertainment, the movie went on floors in December 2019 and completed its shoot before the lockdown. Irandam Kuththu has Karishma and Akriti from Mumbai playing female leads. Danny, Motta Rajendran, Ravi Maria, Chaams, and Manobala are playoing key characters.
