Popular mega-budget producer KT Kunjumon known for bankrolling films including 'Suriyan', 'Gentleman', 'Kaadhalan', 'Kadhal Desam', and 'Ratchagan', surprised everyone with a big announcement.

KT Kunjumon announced that his production company is returning to production the sequel to one of his most successful films, 'Gentleman' under the banner, Gentleman Film International.

Released in 1993, 'Gentleman' marked the directorial debut of Shankar, which had Arjun and Madhubala playing the lead role. The commercial entertainer discussed the education system of India.

KT Kunjumon, who stayed away from film business for more than 2 decades, took to Twitter and announced, "Happy to announce the sequel for Mega blockbuster Gentleman. #Gentleman2 Produced by #GentlemanFilmInternational (sic)."

The producer has also assured that Gentleman 2 will be grand like Hollywood films and he has initiated talks with actors, technicians, and directors for the film.

The makers are reportedly planning to rope in some famous actors from Bollywood and South Indian industries for the film. An official announcement regarding the film's cast and crew will be made soon.

KT Kunjumon's last film as a producer was Vijay starrer 'Endrendrum Kadhal' released in 1999. Kunjumon said that the film will first release in theaters and then, will be made available for other streaming platforms. It is unknown if ace director Shankar will direct the film or not.
