Director Mysskin, who is basking in the success of his last release, 'Psycho', is all set to commence shooting for the sequel of his 2014 super-hit horror-thriller 'Pisaasu', titled 'Pisasu II'.

A couple of days ago, Mysskin had tweeted that he’d announce the details of his next film on September 20, being his birthday. On this special occasion, director Mysskin's next project is officially announced as 'Pisaasu II', with Andrea Jeremiah in the lead. Actor-singer Andrea Jeremiah was last seen in Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai.

'Pisaasu' was Mysskin’s first supernatural gothic horror thriller. The film won appreciation from both the audience and the critics. Sources say that the director will now start work on a sequel to the film. While this is not a continuation of the earlier film, there will be references to it
Rajkumar Pitchumani of Psycho fame will be playing an integral role in this film. Muruganandam is producing the film under RockFort Entertainment. Karthik Raja has been roped in as the composer. Shooting of the film is expected to commence in November at Masinagudi or may take place in another location if there is a weather issue.

Psycho, recently opted out of 'Thupparivaalan 2' following a fallout over budget constraints with actor Vishal. Both Vishal and Mysskin are expected to sign a legal agreement soon, after which the project will be taken over by the former.

Mysskin also has a project with Arun Vijay in the pipeline. In this yet-untitled film, Arun will be seen playing a cop and recent reports indicated that it could be a sequel to Anjaathe. However, Mysskin is yet to shed light on this project which he will take up after completing work on Pisaasu 2.
