Before the Tamil film industry digest the shocking announcement of Suriya to release his next biggie 'Soorarai Pottru', the makers of Vijay Sethupathi and Santhanam's movie reveals that they are in talks with OTT players to release their movies directly on OTT plaforms.

Producer - distributor KJR Studios who gave films like Nayanthara's 'Aaram', Prabhu Deva's 'Gulaebaghavali'. Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' is producing Vijay Sethupathi - Aishwarya Rajesh starrer 'Ka Pae Ranasingam' and Santhanam’s 'Dikkiloona'. The makers have released the teaser of both the films recently and received a great response from fans and audiences.

While many filmmakers and producers are exploring the possibilities of releasing the film on OTT platform during this COVID-19 pandemic situation, there were couple of reports doing round on social media claiming that 'Ka Pae Ranasingam' and 'Dikkiloona' are going to have direct OTT release on Zee5.

Responding to the report, KJ Rajesh of KJR Studios denied the news about the release on OTT Platform Zee5, but he revealed that they are in talks with major OTT players to strike a deal. Their tweet read "UNTRUE. We’re in talks with all major OTT players but we haven’t zeroed in yet. Please await official confirmation on our films directly from us! #KaPaeRanasingam #Dikkiloona".
KJR Studios's tweet disappinted the fans of both Vijay Sethupathi and Santhanam fans as they asks the producer not to release it on OTT via tweet replies.

'Ka Pae Ranasingam', directed by P Virumandi, has Aishwarya Rajesh as the main protagonist, while Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in an important role. The teaser of the film which released couple of months ago created a good buzz on social media. The contemporary political references in the trailer garnered good attention among the fans.

Karthik Yogi's Dikkiloona, on the other hand, features Santhanam in a triple action role for the first time and has Anagha and Shirin Kanchwala playing the female leads. The trailer of the film was released recently and it opened to a good reception and has hit the 8 million views mark on Youtube. The fans enjoyed Santhanam’s one line counters. Dikkiloona has an interesting sci-fi, time travel element which is expected to be the USP of the film.
