The Lady Superstar of Tamilnadu, Nayanthara who started her career as a TV anchor and did few ad films initially, she always stayed away from endorsing any commercials.

It's not every day that we get to see a star like Nayanthara in TV advertisements. But, now the actress seems to have changed her strategy.

While the actress did few commercials in the initial stage of her career and in 2015, like endorsing Pothys designer sarees, GRT Jewellers and recently for TATA group of companies’ products like 'TATA Sky', 'Tanishq' Jewellery and Katrina Kaif’s 'Kay' Beauty products, she always tried to avoid signing up commercials.
Nayanthara who never did endorsements until recently, has started accepting more endorsements like 'Walkmate slippers' and 'Ujala Crisp and Shine', and these commercials become popular among households and youngsters.
Jyothy Lab’s Ujala Crisp and Shine commercial launched in July this year is now gaining attention. Due to her popularity in all southern states, more brands wanted her to endorse their product.

On the film front Nayanthara was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss. On the upcoming projects, Nayanthara has completed 'Mookuthi Amman' being directed by RJ Balaji, and her films Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe', woman-centric thriller 'Netrikann' believed to be an official remake of Korean thriller 'Blind' directed by Aval fame Milind Rau are on floors.

Her fiancé Vignesh Shivan will direct her in 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' that will also have Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
