Suriya celebrates his birthday today, July 23 and on this special occasion, Suriya's fans have no chill and they trend the star's birthday hashtag on social media.

The popular star has immense fan following and the hashtag #HappyBirthdaySuriya is trending in Indian which is about to hit 3 million mark. His fans decided to put their creative brain to work and designed several interesting posters set the buzz on social media on the eve of Suriya's birthday. Fans have filled social media with wonderful edits, GIFs and messages for Suriya.

Suriya's upcoming film 'Soorarai Pottru' is a hugely anticipated film which is expected to release in January next year. Aparna Balamurali will be seen playing the female lead in Soorarai Pottru. Karunas and Kaali Venkat will be seen playing key supporting roles. Soorarai Pottru was supposed to be released in summer this year. The release date has been postponed due to the lockdown for COVID-19 situation.

It seems the makers will show a one-minute video as a special treat for his crazy fans and also planning to release a single track from the album. The film with Suriya in the lead is based on the founder of Air Deccan, GR Gopinath. Soorarai Pottru is an ambitious project for the lead actor jointly produded by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment respectively.
