Vishal's upcoming film 'Chakra' trailer has been released on internet in four languages. The movie is directed by Anandan with Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra playing as the female leads.

As the fans were eagerly waiting for the trailer of 'Chakra', within an hour, the trailer had one lakhs of views on YouTube in multiple languages.

Produced by Vishal Film Factory, the two minutes trailer suggests that the movie is a cyber-crime thriller that focuses on a mass robbery on the Independence Day in the city of Chennai.
Vishal is a military officer and Shraddha Srinath playing the cop, who is investigating the robbery in nearly 49 houses by a group of hackers. The hackers steal the Ashoka Chakra medal at Vishal's house, which pushes him to go on a hunt to nab them.

The film was supposed to hit the theatres on May 1 but the makers had postponed the release due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Srushti Dange, Manobala and Robo Shankar form the supporting cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music and cinematography handled by Balasubramaniem.

Actor Vishal was last seen in Sundar C's Action, which failed to garner good response from the audience and critics.
