Superstar Rajnikanth starrer suspense thriller 'Chandramukhi' was a blockbuster hit in 2015 after an unsuccessful 'Baba'. Directed by P Vasu and the movie had Jyothika playing the central character Chandramukhi turned out to be a massive hit and received applause.

We all know that the sequel to the movie is on cards and Lawrence is all set to play the lead role in Chandramukhi 2 to be directed by P Vasu.

In a recent interview the director even revealed the plot of the sequel. After the official announcement everyone was eager to know who will be playing the Chandramukhi character in the sequel.

The latest hot buzz is that the director has approached Jyothika once again to play the lead, and also she might be playing dual roles as Chandramukhi and another lead character but we have to wait and see whether the actress would give her nod and not.

Sources say that Vasu also has plans to rope in Vadivelu in the film but things are yet to be officially confirmed. The film will be produced by Sun Pictures and once the Government lifts the lockdown, the shoot will commence.
