After giving out successful 'Psycho' starring Udayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menon, Mysskin was said to start sequel to 'Thupparivaalan', but the director parted ways with Vishal, claiming Vishal treated him disrespectfully. Per recent speculations, we reported recently the Pisasu director will be working with Arun Vijay.

The latest and interesting update about Mysskin - Arun Vijay film is that, the film might be sequel to his blockbuster hit Anjathey. Mysskin's second directorial 'Anjathe' featured Narain, Prasanna, Ajmal Ameer and Vijayalakshmi and received good reviews. It turned out to be a super hit film by the director. The film grossed good numbers at the box office and it was remade in Kannada as 'Anjadiru'.

Reports also suggest that Simbu was the director's initial choice, when approached Simbu, they both couldn't come to any conclusive agreement. Then, Mysskin chose Arun Vijay, who agreed to come on board. The film is expected to go on floors post the coronavirus lockdown.

This yet to be titled film will be Arun Vijay’s 32nd film. The movie is to be produced by All In Pictures, who is producing Arun Vijay's 31st movie too. Arun Vijay has a bunch of movies in his hands including Agni Siragugal, Boxer, Sinam other than the untitled movie with director Arivazhagan. He also wrapped up the shooting of his yet another film, tentatively titled AV 31.
