KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year, which is expected to release on October 23. Despite the nation-wide lockdown, it looks like the Yash-starrer, which is currently under post-production, will keep up the promised release date.

The latest news update about the film is that the satellite rights of the film has been sold for a recording 120 crore. Though it is not known which channel procured the satellite rights of KGF: Chapter 2, but the news has gone viral on social media. An official announcement is yet to be made regarding this deal. It is worth to mention that KGF: Chapter 1 was sold to Colors network

This Prashanth Neel directorial will have Yash as the lead like the original film KGF. Yash will retain the very rugged and intense look in Chapter 2. This film will also feature Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt will be essaying the role of a villain. The makers of film had previously released the first look poster of Sanjay Dutt from the film.

A 25-30 day final schedule, which includes fight sequences and talkie portions, will happen once the lockdown restrictions are lifted.

The post production work of the film has been started and the makers of the film have also begun working on the music of the film, which is composed by Ravi Basrur. Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under his banner, Homable Films, Sanjay Dutt is essaying the antagonist, Raveena Tandon will play the role of Ramaika Sen with Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead.
