Dhanush and Amala Paul, the hit pair of ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’, have come together once again. However, they will be seen as producer and actress this time.

The ‘Mynaa’ and ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ actress, who married director Vijay last year, will be seen essaying the lead role in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Hindi flick ‘Nil Battey Sannata’.

The movie will be jointly produced by Dhanush and Anand L Rai. An emotional tale of a mother and her daughter, the film will have Amala playing the daughter.

“It's a very sweet and beautiful mother-daughter film that shows the ups and downs of human relationships,” sources said. The movie directed by debutante filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer won accolades at many international events, including London Film Festival.
