Before the release of his films, Ajith would promptly visit Tirupati and offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. And there is no change this time too, despite he suffering from immense leg pain.

The top actor visited Tirumala in the wee hours of today and offered prayers at the hill shrine. Ajith was seen in white (shirt) and white (dhoti) and was accompanied by his close aides.

Though Ajith did not want to publicise his visit, fans and media managed to spot him and clicked pictures. A smiling Ajith accepted their wishes. Later, he went into the temple and prayed for the success of ‘Vedalam’ and for the well-being of all.
Meanwhile, the ‘thala’ will undergo leg surgery on November 24. According to sources,the surgery will take place in a private hospital in Chennai and after that, Ajith will be under rest for nine weeks. “Only then he will decide on his next project, which will most probably be directed by Siruthai Siva again,” sources added.
