The wait is all over. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming Chimbudevan directorial 'Puli' first look posters and teaser will be released on June 22nd, on the occasion on Vijay's 41st Birthday.

After tasting phenomenal success with AR Murugadoss’ Kaththi last year, superstar Vijay is gearing up for the release of his next flick with director Chimbu Devan. Puli is touted to be a socio-fantasy film that is in post-production stage. Devi Sri Prasad is composing mesmerizing tunes for Vijay's Puli and the ace musician has recently recorded a song penned by Kavi Perarasu Vairamuthu in Vijay's voice.

After Illayathalapathy Vijay’s look from the film got leaked a month ago, the makers are finally ready to unveil the official first look of the film. Puli’s first look teaser will be out on June 22, coinciding with Vijay’s 41 st birthday. Director Chimbu Devan confirmed the news saying,” Puli’s first look/teaser will be unveiled on June 22 on Vijay sir’s 41st birthday. I believe the film’s teaser will give all Vijay fans a reason to cherish.” So come June 22, all aredent fans of Vijay will have two reasons to celebrate.

Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep and others starred Puli is an SKT Studios production film. Though Vijay is not available for his Birthday celebrations in city, makers of Puli leaving no stone unturned to give treat to Thalapathy fans.

Meanwhile, it is said that the film’s music by Devi Sri Prasad will be out next month. The movie expected to release sometime in September is expected to show Vijay in a new light. So how different is Vijay’s character compared to his previous roles? Only time will tell.
