Last year blockbuster Jigarthanda was a cult movie, to some tireless efforts from Karthik Subburaj, and the latest news is that the youngster has already started work for his next.

With an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathy, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Karunakaran, and Bobby Simha the movie is said to commence shooting by the end of this month.

The talk around Kollywood is that Karthik has completed writing the screenplay and is ready to commence shooting in Chennai.

Jigarthanda’s core undoubtedly is the city Madurai, it was an integral part of the movie. Now for Iravi, Karthik Subburaj has shifted base to Chennai and is said to be shooting in some of the spots which has never been shown in Tamil Cinema.

Trim & Slim Anjali

Anjali completed filming for Appatakkar, Mappillai singam and is now to play in Karthik Subbaraj’s film titled ‘Iraivi’.

It is heard that Anjali’s role in the film is a trendy urban girl for which Karthik Subbaraj has asked Anjali to reduce her weight.

Anjali has also shed ten kilos in the past few months and is now busy in both Tamil and Telugu films.
