Thala Ajith is back after long vacation. After giving big block buster movie Ajith is back with 'Thala56', which went on the floors today with the official pooja.

This is the big day for 'Thala56'. 'Thala56' begins today in Chennai with traditional grand pooja. Producer AM Rathinam, an ardent Sai devotee, makes sure that all his production ventures commence on a Thursday and toeing in line with this sentiment went ahead with the pooja of Ajith 56. Ajith Kumar and Shruthi Haasan will be doing lead roles. Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah and others will be supporting the movie.
To be directed by Siva of Veeram fame, the film will have music by Anirudh. Ruben will be in-charge of editing and Vetri will be cranking the camera. It may be mentioned here that Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the female lead in this project.
