Vijay Sethupathi is expecting the release of his films Idam Porul Eval, Mellisai, Purambokku and Orange Mittai.

He is currently acting in the film titled Naanum Rowdythaan. This film which is being produced by Dhanush has Nayanthara in the female lead role.

After completing this he will be donning the lead role in a film which is to be directed by Arunkumar. Filmmaker Arun Kumar was one among those pioneers who proved that one needn’t work and suffer as assistant directors for a very long time and then make their debut, but instead prove their potentials through short film and venture into the showbiz.

Although, his maiden debut ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’ wasn’t a great hit, it was very much appreciated by the critics and audience and established a good status for Vijay Sethupathi.

Now the successful duo is coming back together again for another film and this time Vijay Sethupathi will be performing a cop role. That’s quite contrastive and so would be the script as Vijay Sethupathi performed a car driver for the classic Premiere Padmini owned by Jayaprakash. It is noteworthy that Vijay Sethupathi had already performed a cop role in one of his short films erstwhile making his entry into film industry.
