Ace cinematographer and director PC Sreeram deactivated his Twitter account yesterday citing his busy schedule.
The lensman has been active on the micro-blogging site vigorously promoting his projects, including I and Shamitabh. His decision to quit, reportedly, is due to a film critic’s negative view on the Amitabh Bachchan – Dhanush starrer, Shamitabh. Said to be the review by Sudhish Kamath in The Hindu. The critic did mentioned that on a article in his blog page in 'The Hindu'.
However, PC Sreeram has clarified that he will be shifting base to Chennai and will have to concentrate in his work for the next several weeks as many important projects are lined up. The cameraman’s next release will be Mani Ratnam’s Oh Kadhal Kanmani.

"P.C. Sreeram, a senior cinematographer I respect went off Twitter after expressing his disappointment with a review I had written - Sudhish Kamath quoted."Though the movie is running successful and received rave reviews from critics, most of the Print and online medias from North Indian have sidelined Shamitabh only because the cast and crew of the movie are from Tamil Nadu. As always being said North Media or Politicians doesn't like Tamils to get fame and even not mentioned the name of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja in their reviews, quoted by online media.
