Kamal Haasan who participated in the Ilayaraja’s felicitation function in Mumbai shook hands with his former wife Sarika and enquired about her welfare.

Cinema superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan shared stage to pay tribute to music maestro Ilaiyaraaja at the audio launch of R. Balki’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Shamitabh’.

Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan, Kamal Haasan’s former wife Sarika, Shruthi Haasan, poet Gulzar, actresses Tabu, Devi, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and actor Dhanush participated in this function. Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara who had acted in the film had come with her mother Sarika. She was seated in the front row. Kamal Haasan shook hands with her and enquired about welfare. Sarika was all in smiles.
