Dhanush had begun the countdown for Lingaa’s release quite some time ago and with the D-day nearing, the star has said that he has applied...
The actor had tweeted that with the reservations for this magnum opus commencing, he has submitted his leave letter to director Balaji Mohan, who is directing him in Maari right now.
The filmmaker Balaji Mohan replied,” #LingaaLeaveLetters #Thalaivar doesn’t need a holiday or festival for his release. He makes his own release holidays! @superstarrajini Mass!”
“@dhanushkraja #LingaaLeaveLetter received sir :) could u also send me a #LingaaFDFS ticket ;)”, added the director.
Looks like both actor and director have been overpowered by Lingaa frenzy. Don’t be surprised if you find Dhanush sitting next you whistling his heart out at superstar Rajinikanth’s intro in Lingaa.
It is worth a mention that Lingaa is also the name of Dhanush’s younger son.
The shooting of Maari is currently in progress and going by Dhanush’s statement, he would be taking off from the sets on December 12th to watch his father-in-law in action. Directed by KS Ravikumar, Lingaa has Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha as the leading ladies.
