Producer L K Sudeesh is all set to cast Vijayakant's younger son Shanmuga Pandiyan as a hero in his film Sagaaptham.

The film's first schedule was shot in and around Pollachi, Valparai, Anamalai, which went on for about 25 days. We also hear that `one crore was spent for roping in 1,000 supporting artistes for a dance sequence.

Directed by Surendar, models Neha and Supra Ayyappa are making their debut with this film. The movie's cast includes Singampuli, Jegan, Powerstar Srinivasan and Thalaivaasal Vijay.
