Gokul had earlier directed films Rowthiram and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Now he will be directing a film which will have Karthi in the lead role.

The film has been titled Kashmora. The shooting of the film is to commence soon. Karthi after completing the shooting of Komban will start Kashmora and the date for the shooting is all finalized.

It is understood that Nayanthara has been approached for the female lead role. Nayanthara has also agreed for this and has allotted her dates. Nayanthara is currently pairing with Udhayanidhi Stalin in the film Nanbenda. She is also pairing with Surya in Mass.

With already a handful of films under her Calender, Nayantara, according to sources has already listened to the script of Kashmora and has been impressed with it and is most likely to sign for the same.

Earlier, reports were doing rounds that Shruthi Haasan was the first choice for the Movie but now sources close to Kashmora has revealed that Nayantara has been all set to act beside Karthi.Kashmora will be directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame and other details about the film has not yet been revealed. If everything goes well accordingly Nayan and Karthi are going to share the screen for first time.

Director Gokul says that ”We start shooting from February 2015. The pre-production work has already started and we are also on the lookout to finalise the rest of the cast,” Gokul reveals that Kashmora is not a Horror film.

”The title is a term used in black magic. It’s a multi-genre film that has supernatural elements, but not horror per se. There’s action and comedy as well to make it appealing to the masses,” he said.

So this Karthi and Nayan combination is going to be a very good entertainment to their fans as this is the first film these both are sharing the screen.Lets wait and see whether this combination is going to be a hit.
