Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar are jointly organizing a music concert called Chicago.

It is said that this is an adaptation of a musical Chicago and it will be staged in the city on 11th and 12th of October. This show will be co-produced by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar along with her bestie Vishal and his home production VFF.

The show will be choreographed by the famous salsa choreographer Jeffery Warden who has earlier collaborated with Varalakshmi with the on stage productions. She will not be playing the lead in this play as the young lad will be shooting for Bala’s upcoming movie Tharai Thappattai in which she plays the female lead and she is joining hands with Sasikumar in this film. She will reach the city only on the day of the show and as she had no time for the rehearsals she will not be playing the lead this time.

The show will have Casius Leon, Amritha and Aishwarya will be playing the lead and it has been reported that Yuvan has done a very wonderful and mind blowing work in orchestrating. Even though the show does not need much of experimenting musically, Yuvan has added his own flavour of music to the original composition.

The concert is to be held on 11th and 12th October from 7 PM onward at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Chetpet in Chennai.
