It is well known that Vijay will be teaming up with director Chimbudevan for his next project referred "Vijay 58" (actor's 58^th film).

Hansika Motwani, fresh from the superhit success of Aranmanai, is currently busy shooting for Sundar C - Vishal's Aambala in Ooty.

It's non-stop work for the pretty girl till early next year. One of the big projects in her kitty is 'Vijay 58' directed by Chimbudevan.

In a recent interview, when we asked her about this project, she didn't reveal much and just went on to add.

“The film is very big and is something new for me. I can't reveal much for now, and the pre-production work is going on. I am also preparing for the role”

"Vijay 58" has created huge expectations, even before it could go on floors. The film, touted as a fantasy-based entertainer, will reportedly be made with a whopping budget of ₹90 crore. Vijay will be working with director Chimbudevan for the first time. The director is known for making comedy entertainers like "Imsai Arasan 23^rd Pulikesi" and "Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam" among others.

"Vijay 58" will be Shruti's first film with Vijay, while it will be Hansika's second project with Ilayathalapathy after the 2011 release "Velayudham".

Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the soundtracks for the film, while cinematographer Natraj of "Sathuranga Vettai" fame will be handling the camera work. The big budget entertainer will be produced by Shibu of Thammens Films and PT Selvakumar, a long-time associate of Vijay.

The film is expected to go on floors in November. An official announcement regarding the project is expected to be made after the release of "Kaththi."
