Sivakarthikeyan has gone through a big transformation in the past four years. Siva Karthikeyan who started his career in television has made it successful in films too.

His films starting from Marina, 3, Ethir Neechal, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam to Maan Karate have made it good at the box office. All his movies have been successful and the expectation level for his next film is quite high.

The actor is now working in a film that was initially titled as Taana but is now changed to Kaakki Sattai, the title of Kamal Haasan's movie of 1985.

The first look poster of his next film directed by Durai Senthil Kumar will be released by the end of this month. It must be noted that the title of this film will also be disclosed with the first look poster.

The actor opens up about acting as a Police officer for the first time. In Taana, he plays the role of – Madhimaran, a crime branch police office. Sri Divya his co-star from VVS is paired again with him.

Veteran actor Prabhu is also doing an important role in the movie. Ethir Neechal director Durai Senthilkumar is directing the movie. Dhanush is producing it and Escape Madhan is releasing it. Siva has put on weight for his police officer look in the movie. Even though the movie is an action entertainer, there is plenty of scope for humour and Imman Annachi is in charge of comedy in the movie.

Siva’s father was a Police officer, so he is excited to play one in Kaakki Sattai.

Anirudh scores the music for this film and the songs are expected to be released in the first week of November.
