Just when Thala Ajith is busy wrapping up untitled Gautham Menon film, there is huge buzz about his upcoming film to be referred as Thala 56.

Subsequently for the third time after Veeram and Thala 55, producer AM Ratnam will bankroll upcoming Ajith starrer with a Rs.50 – 70 Cr budget, according to sources.

Siruthai director Siva will join Ajith for the second time post Veeram. The ace filmmaker has completed script work for Thala 56.

After romancing Anushka and Trisha in Thala 55, Ajith is expected to pair opposite Hansika Motwani for the first time in Thala 56. Makers are keen to rope in Hansika, but negotiations with Tamanna and Kajal Agarwal are also on.

Ajith will join the sets of yet-to-be-titled Siruthai Siva film from 2015 January, after finishing Thala 55 that is in last leg of shooting.

Ajith, who is donning two different looks for Thala 55, will be portraying urban and very today look for Thala 56.

Yet-untitled Siruthai Siva directorial is slated for Diwali 2015 release, while untitled Gautham Menon flick will hit screens on 9th January, for 2015 Pongal.
