Suresh Gopi slammed the rumoures about being uninvited for the audio launch function of upcoming Tamil movie I.

The actor made it clear that he was invited for the function; but it was him who decided not to attend the function. Suresh Gopi also confirmed that he will be attending all the promotional events which will be conducted before and after the release of the movie.

Suresh Gopi says that he had already informed the makers of I, that he won't be attending the Pooja and audio release functions of the movie, at the time of initial discussions itself. The actor states that he does not believe in such lavish functions and is not interested in attending them.

The audio launch funtion of I was a head-turner event with the presence of Former Mr. Universe, Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar and so many other big names of South Indian Film Industry. But the absence of the antagonist of the movie, Suresh Gopi led into so many speculations.

The actor's absence in the official trailer also raised eyebrows. Reportedly, Suresh Gopi had a fallout with the makers of the movie regarding the filming schedules. It was rumoured that the actor's excessive demands caused displeasure in the makers of the movie. But Suresh Gopi denied the reports saying that he maintains a good relation with the cast and crew members of the movie.
