AR Murugadoss is currently directing Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Kaththi. The film has kicked up a storm before release as one its producers, London based Lyca Productions is said to be close to Sri Lankan president.

Karuna of Ayngaran International is producing the movie in association with Lyca.

Ever since the name of Lyca came out in public, a section of the Tamil leaders and groups in Tamil Nadu have started accusing Lyca for supporting Sri Lankan Government and they suggested Lyca is anti-Tamil.

Now Murugadoss and Producer Karuna have started meeting Tamil leaders in Chennai. They recently met Nedumaran, Tirumavalavan and Seeman and will be meeting Vaiko soon.

They are explaining to the leaders that Lyca is not connected with Sri Lankan Government and are asking for a smooth release of Kaththi for Diwali without any protests.
