Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain is nearing completion and the movie is left with 15 days of shoot schedule which will be wrapped by July. The filmmakers are planning to release the film on September 10 release.

Ramesh Aravind is wielding the megaphone for the movie and the current schedule is taking place in lavishly erected in sets in Chennai. Crucial scenes of eight century are being filmed.

Casting Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Parvathy Menon, K.Balachander, Nasser and K.Viswanath in prominent roles Uttama Villain is being produced by N.Lingusamy's Thiruppathi Brother Banner.
