It is well known that Arya was director Saravanan’s first choice to play the lead role in Ivan Vera Mathiri but the actor could not take up the offer for various reasons. Later, Vikram Prabhu chipped in, said the director in an interview.

Saravanan, who has Engeyum Eppothum to his credit, says that Vikram Prabhu was selected for the role even before his debut venture Kumki hit the screens.

Revealing on IVM’s storyline, Saravanan said that it is a tale of a young man dealing with social problems in his own way but the film in no way will be similar to Indian or Anniyan.
