Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan’s friendship reportedly started on the sets of 3, which was directed by Aishwarya Dhanush.

While Dhanush played the lead role in this flick, Sivakarthikeyan was seen in a small role.

The two shared a very good rapport since then and when Dhanush floated his production house Wunderbar Films, he gave an opportunity to Sivakarthikeyan by casting him as the lead star in Edhir Neechal. This film turned out to be mega grosser and their friendship became stronger.
