Ajith Kumar starrer Arrambam was released on October 31 and since then the movie has been maintaining its soothing run at the box office.

The film has till date banked around Rs. 92 crores and the pace at which Arrambam is moving, it is pretty much expected that the flick will now be a part of Rs. 100 crores club very soon.

Movie opened up to positive reviews from critics and audience. The major credit for the success of Arrambam will also be shared with Ajith Kumar's fans, as they spent overtime spreading good words about the movie on the release day and the day after. It created a complete positive atmosphere around the flick, which played a crucial role in reaching all section of audience.

Arrambam was released in good number of screens. Multiplexes dedicated major number of screens for the Tamil movie in first two days to cash in on the occasion. This also helped the movie to register a stunning opening at the Tamil Box Office. On the opening day, the occupancy for the movie in the entire state reached close to 95 percent, say traders.

Arrambam is a directorial creation of Vishnuvardhan. It features Ajith Kumar, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. The story of the flick revolves around 26/11 serial blasts in Mumbai, depicting Ajith in a role named Ashok Kumar, who is on a mission to expose a fiddle of flawed bullet proof jackets provided to security forces, which resulted in deaths of his best mate and colleague.
