The actor’s career graph was on high when he started acting in movies. His debut film ‘Paruthiveeran’ was a blockbuster hit followed by ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ that won him decent reviews.

Apparently, his third movie ‘Paiyaa’ was a sensational hit and it changed the image of Karthi into a lover boy. Director Susintheeran’s ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ was a special milestone in his career and his very next movie ‘Siruthai’ was a commercial hit in box office.

But what followed next was a league of unexpected downfalls that included ‘Saguni’ and ‘Alex Pandian’. Although the producers, distributors and exhibitors had their hands safe, the reviews from critics and film buffs, especially the Karthi fans were bad. The actor decided to appear in a new avatar and started working on Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani and simultaneously kick-started his other project ‘All in All Azhagu Raja’.

‘Biriyani was supposed to hit screens on September 6 and was postponed at the last minute following which we heard a surprise news that the producers are planning to release AAA first on Diwali and ‘Biriyani’ on Pongal 2014. The first look teaser of ‘Biriyani’ created an impression that Karthi is a playboy.

But with AAA turning out to be a disappointment in box office, the producers have instantly launched a new trailer, which gives a new impression and adds new colour. Let’s wait and watch Karthi will regain his position with this film.
