Looks like Namitha is on a mission. The actress says she wants to push the envelope and try out roles that she has not done before.

 “I’ve just finished shooting for a Tamil- Telugu-Kannada trilingual, Ilamai Oonjal, in which I play a cop. The film has five more heroines, and director Harirajan approached me with the idea of casting me in the lead. But when I heard the story, I liked the role of the cop better. So, we fleshed out the character a little,” smiles Namitha.

The actress says she is in the process of signing a new film now. “I’ve met with the producers, and I will be able to talk about it in a month’s time,” she adds. Meanwhile, the actress has taken to yoga to get back into shape. “I’m into yoga now; I’ve started consuming a lot of green tea, and have turned completely vegetarian as well,” she says.
