Over the past few days, the media has been abuzz with news about Superstar Rajini’s next film. There are many names doing the rounds such as Shankar, K S Ravikumar and P Vasu.

After working together on many blockbusters such as Padayappa and Muthu, Rajini is touted to work again with K S Ravikumar, according to a section of media reports. It seems Rajini wants to do a quickie spanning just a few months’ time, and one that would be a total entertainer on the lines of Padayappa. Apparently he has also held initial discussions with KSR regarding the same.

Another side is saying that P Vasu would finally be making the much-talked about sequel to Chandramukhi (the remake of Manichitrathazhu) with Rajini. With director Priyadarshan and superstar Mohanlal currently working on Geethanjali, sort of an extension of Manichitrathazhu, there are chances of the sequel to Chandramukhi materializing, if Geethanjali is received well by the Malayalam audience when it releases later this year.

The latest buzz is centering on director Shankar working with Rajini yet again after their blockbuster team-ups for Sivaji and Enthiran. The two have held discussions regarding their new association and an official announcement is expected anytime, believes another media house.

But when our Correspondent got in touch with a source close to the Superstar, this is what he had to say “Rajini Sir is currently concentrating solely on the completion and release of Kochadaiyaan and he is not thinking beyond this project as of now. So all talks about his next film are mere rumors and speculations on the part of certain media personnel”

So, there we heard it straight from the horse’s mouth. Superstar Rajini’s next is still an unsolved riddle.
