Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Vishwaroopam completes 100 days across theaters in Tamil Nadu. After facing a lot of problems over releasing the film, Vishwaroopam hit the screens in Tamil Nadu of Feb 7th, 13 days after its worldwide release on Jan 25th for the fans to enjoy the film and has turned out to be massive hit at the box office.
Starring Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles, Vishwaroopam is scripted, directed and produced by Kamal and the music is by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Kamal Haasan has said that he is overwhelmed by the success of the film and that the film has done well more than he expected. he has also earlier said that his next production Vishwaroopam-2 will be released this year.
The film was originally set for release in Tamil and Telugu on January 25 but the Tamil version was banned followed by protests by Muslim groups. The ban was later lifted and the film subsequently released on February 7 in Tamil Nadu.
