Santhanam has a policy of his own according to which he want the atmosphere in the cinema hall in which his movie is screened to by filled with humour and laugh.

For this, Santhanam is writing his own scripts or atleast not sharing the origin of scripts, there by he differs from Vadivelu and his predecessors.

He also takes care that in no way the hero of the movie feels that he is over ruling their role.

Playing safe, having a business continounce and doing the job with purpose is the philosophy Santhanam is following.
