In a recent poll conducted by the Chennai based popular music channel – Which Heroine looks the best in a Sari? Amala topped the viewer's poll and beat competitors like Nayanthara, Samantha, Trisha, Anushka and Kajal Aggarwal.

Amala was crowned the ‘Sari Queen' by the music channel, which has made her even more popular among her legion of fans.
