Vishwaroopam doing well at International Box Office

Vishwaroopam has continued to do good business abroad. The film was released on January 25 in the US and UK and managed to pull the audience for both Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie.
In UK and Ireland

The Kamal Hassan starrer film was released in 20 plus screens on January 25 and the film is now successfully running in almost same number of screens. In the third weekend, Vishwaroopam has earned £30,231 (Rs 25.42 lakhs) and the per screen average stands at £1,440 (Rs 1.21 lakh). The film has so far collected £2,75,318 (Rs 2.33 crores).

By the end of the second weekend, it had raked in Rs 1.86 crore from the UK and Ireland Box Office. The film overpowered Kadal and Vikram’s David. As per the trade reports, Mani Ratnam’s film had collected Rs 30.20 lakhs and the film is running in four screens.
US

The film had released in 44 screens and is still running in 32 screens. Vishwaroopam has collected Rs 5.38 crores in the US Box Office and the per screen average stands at $1,874 (Rs 1.01 lakh). Whereas, the Telugu version, which was released in 28 screens on January 25, has done $1,90,441 (Rs 1.03 crores) business and the per screen average working out to $1,070. In the third weekend, the film has collected $16,047 (Rs 8.71 lakhs) in 15 screens.
