After his words on Rana Daggubati, Vikram responded and issue was settled with apologies from each side. Earlier, Vikram had pointed out Rana Daggubati in an interview with Hindustan Times.

Rana Daggubati was very serious on this issue and his harsh reaction on Vikram made his fans very angry. Later, this issue was settled as he conveyed his apologies for his tough words against Vikram and tweeted, "Spoke to actor Vikram finally, says it's a misquote from what he actually said. Glad the air is cleared apologies to him and his fans for my harsh reaction."

It was a surprise to tweeple, when Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati tweeted about Vikram. He responded to Vikram's comments to a publication about Rana not focusing on Telugu films and being a damp squib in Bollywood and Tollywood. But it looks like they spoke to each other and settled the issue soon after.

When spoke to Rana, he said, "I spoke to Vikram myself. He apologised and said it was a misquote. Hence, my following tweets."

Rana also in turn apologised to Vikram and his fans after sorting out the issue with him. But ask the young actor what made him tweet harshly about Vikram, especially the older actor's series of flops, and he replied, "I'm extremely good to anyone who's good with me. A slight rub on the wrong side and I flip. That's my nature. Happens very rarely though."

A close aide to Vikram said, "He spoke to Rana and explained about the interview to him. He has sorted it out with Rana and all is fine now."
