The Thuppakki duo are slated to work on a project again

The successful duo Ilayathalapathy Vijay and director AR Murugadoss will work together, yet again, in 2014.
The breeze blows that Ayngaran International has pocketed this the funding for this project, at a whooping budget of more than 75 crore rupees! ARM has three different story lines in his mind - a double action subject, a love story idea, and a sequel to 'Thuppakki'.

Sources also say that this project will be a Summer treat by Ayngaran International, and the project will be on the floors by the end of this year. Meanwhile, rumours have it that Asin was approached for this project. However, it is still too early for a definitive declaration. All official announcements are expected to show up, once Vijay is done with his 'Thalaivaa' and 'Jilla'.

It's official now — Ilayathalapathy Vijay will team up with director Murugadoss yet again, post their successful outing in Thuppakki. When media person contacted the director, he said, "Yes, we had a chat some days ago. And, we have decided to do a film yet again. This will not be Thuppakki 2 but a different subject. However, we are yet to work out the other details." It's said that the two will work on this film once the filmmaker completes work on the film's Hindi remake with Akshay Kumar. The actor recently attended the audio launch of Vathikuchi, which has been produced by Murugadoss, and commented that he'd have come for it even if he hadn't been invited!
