One of the most popular and successful comedians in Tamil cinema Vadivelu is back in front of the camera after a two year forced sabbatical.

Vadivelu is going to do a dual role in Tenali Raman, directed by Yuvaraj who last did Potta Potti.

Vadivelu lost his numero uno comedian status when he dabbled in Tamil Nadu assembly elections of 2011. The comedian became a platform speaker and drew huge crowds campaigning for DMK, but ended up with egg on his face.

Now the comedian who was shunted out by Kollywood is making a comeback through Tenali Raman and trying to regain his lost clout.

Tenali Raman is being produced by leading production house AGS Entertainment and the shoot begins in March first week.
