Due to the mishap between the producers, Suriya film is in stay for temporarily. R Jayaraman, director of RS Infotainment Pvt Ltd apply a bail that he agreed a deal with Photon Kathaas Factory
Productions on 27/11/2008 with director Gautham Menon and Madhan, as they got an advance of 4.25cr to make a film in casting of Simbhu in AR Rahman Music. This deal was cornered for past 4 years.

Now they both have separated and moving in separate lane. Madhan producing the film Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga by his own company Escape Artists Motion Pictures banner and Gautham also busy in Surya’s film Thuppariyum Anandhan. He plead that if they both have separately moves means its not possible to get his advance amount. So he suggested having a stay in their perspective films till he receive his amount. Hence surya film is in stay for a while.

Looks like grey days are continuing to upset Gautham Menon. If his recent movie was a mild blow to his professional career, the director these days is unhappy of the charges in his personal life too.

Gautham who launched his own banner Photon Kathas was initially helped by R Jayaraman of RS Infotainment and P Madan of Escape Artist. However, R Jayaraman has now decided to part ways. His claim being a promise made on November 27, 2008 by Gautham Menon to collaborate with him to work on a movie together , which has not materialized till date. As a matter of fact, Menon and Madan had taken Rs 4.5 Crores from Jayaraman. Recently Jayaraman has registered a complaint at the Civil Court against the duo.

Now an interim stay has been called for by the Chennai Civil Court.With Gautham’s Photon Kathas grabbing the fair share of Suriya’s next movie. Madan’s Escape Artist taking up Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.The stay stand on both the movies, till matter is sorted out
