Actor Vishal was one of the first artists to raise his voice against the ban on Kamal’s Vishwaroopam and that caused distaste among the Nadigar Sangam.
He expressed his views via his social networks nad blogs. He strongly questioned as to hwy the cine industry is keeping their peace when they ought to have supported Kamal.

Because of this, the president of the Nadigar Sangam, Sarath Kumar had sent a shoe case questioning Vishal as how he can voice such an issue and he better have a good explanation for that. Kamal on hearing this, stated that he is always ready to back up Vishal in this issue and that he is a brave man and he could all by himself sort this problem by himself.
